The Longtom Ultra is back!
York Longtom Marathon is taking place on 28 March 2015!
TAKE NOTE: The race starts and finishes in Sabie, with an out and back on the Longtom pass.

Upcoming Event - Kangra Assegaai 3-in-1
Due to the unfortunate cancellation of the PWC 3-in-1 race Lowveld runners who haven't qualified for Comrades or Two Oceans yet will have to look elsewhere for a qualifier.
The Kangra Assegaai 3-in-1 in Piet Retief looks like a tough but enjoyable option. A few Nedbank LVCC runners have already committed to running the marathon.

Marathon pre-entries are available up to a week before the race. Late marathon entries are accepted at the start from 04h30. Half marathon entries are accepted at the start.
Route Description:
Difficulty Rating: 2. Route Type: Lap
This scenic route is fast and includes picturesque stretches near the Swaziland border. It starts in Piet Retief/eMkhondo at the Rainbow Festival ground and goes out onto the Mahamba Road.

Time trials are run on Thursdays at 17h30 from the LVCC club house in Aurora Street. A 5km or 8km route is run through the quiet neighbourhood of Steiltes, Nelspruit. Time keepers and cold water are provided for.
