2014 Longtom Marathon cancelled
EMBARGO

The 2014 Longtom Ultra and
Half Marathons have been officially cancelled due to financial and logistical
constraints.
Contracting of a major
corporate title sponsor for the 2014 event has been postponed to the 2015
budgetary year.
The constraints of the
current economic climate have also impacted heavily on the business community of
the greater
Thaba Chweu area cutting
heavily into secondary sponsorships for the planned 2014 event.
The race organisers and the
Longtom Marathon Trust sincerely apologises for any inconveniences caused to the
loyal
supporters of the Longtom
Marathon.
